By the end of this course, the student should be able to 

1. gain a deeper understanding of performance management successfully

2. identify and understand the key factors that affect performance management, 

3. understand the tools and techniques of performance management, and 

4. handle any questions related to performance management effectively.

This course has three main lessons with four topics under each lesson. 

Lesson 1 will cover various aspects that will enable the student understand management performance. 

Lesson 2 will cover factors that affect performance. 

Lesson 3 will deal with tools and techniques for managing performance. There will be short quizzes at the end of each lesson. 

For maximum benefit, it is recommended that the student goes through the course sequentially, lesson after lesson.

This course has three main lessons with 12 topics.

2. Learn to identify and understand the key factors that affect performance management. 

3. Understand the tools and techniques of performance management. 

4. Handle any questions related to performance management effectively. 

Lesson 1

This lesson has four topics that will cover various aspects that will enable you to understand management performance. These parts include 1. definition of managing performance, 2. reasons for managing performance, 3. differences between performance management and handling performance, 4. what managing performance involves. By the end of this lesson, the learner should be able to explain what managing performance is all about and how different it is to performance management. 

Lesson 2

This lesson also has four topics. These topics will discuss 1. factors affecting performance, 2. the role of understanding in performance, 3. purpose of ability in performance, 4. The role of disposition in performance. By the end of this lesson, the learner should be able to identify the key factors that affect performance. 

Lesson 3

Lesson three also has four topics. These topics will include the following 1. performance tools and techniques, 2. useful feedback, 3. effective questioning, 4. gaining input and understanding others’ views. By the end of this lesson, the learner should be able to understand the tools and techniques that are used in managing performance and also answer any question relating to the same.
